I booked a smoking room online to get there and be told “from her end it saids nonsmoking” so I would have to pay them a 50$ deposit or pay them a extra 25$ to get it switched to a smoking room even though I booked a smoking room so I basically paid 93 dollars for a room that was suppose to be 68$. "Worst hotel stay every 0/10 do not recommend. This place was so filthy. The first room they put us in the bathroom light was out and the toilet was gross. We changed rooms twice and it was still gross… and the non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. There were dead smashed millipedes all on the side walks and in the stairwells. The professionalism was non existent The pool was cloudy and bug filled. I mean I could go on and on. And I stayed there for the 4th of July weekend!"

"Staff, as always try their best. Unfortunately this property needs a lot of maintenance and it is long overdue for some new towels, sheets, comforters and some renovations. Understanding this is the Key West Inn and we were not expecting 5-star service or facilities, dingy towels/sheets take you back a little bit. "To start we arrived 30 minutes before check-in and we're charged $20 to check us in 30 minutes early. That wasn't even the issue. We were given a room with a key into the room the previous residents had just vacated the room it was filthy and dirty. Went back to the front desk for a second key got a room that was supposed to be non-smoking that smelled like smoke. Always were filthy and wreaked of pets. While in the room the only plus was at the air conditioning was amazing in 100 plus degrees...

"Our room wasn’t offered clean towels for two days. Our bed wasn’t made timely during day hours while we were out. Some receptionists weren’t very friendly: just overall experience wasn’t the best. We’ve stayed here every year for the past 3. This was the worst yet experience."

"This trip was a disaster. The hotel room had black mold in the closet and on the bathroom ceiling. We didn't notice until we had had spent several nights there. That was the worse part. The breakfast was terrible. The first morning there weren't enough plates and utensils. There was NO fruit at all and this wasn't late in the morning. No pancake mix, a few pieces of bread, no bagels and there was no restocking of the hot bar. They had fruit the next day, but it was not restocked the day after....
