"Wonderful place to stay"

"This home is a history lesson. Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. "At the mountain."

"The lodge was exactly as described. Clean and well maintained. Enough space for 9 (3 generations) without annoying each other! We all enjoyed the firepit and playing cornhole at night. It has a secluded feeling while still being 5 min from stores and restaurants. Gale was friendly and responsive to any questions. We would absolutely stay there again!"

"The Yurt was scenic, peaceful, and picturesque with everything we needed. A Blue Heron visited us daily, as did the ducks on the pond outside the Yurt. Complete with warmth for the cold nights and all the equipment to store and prepare food, we were able to see some local attractions and go back and forth to and from the Yurt conveniently. Brett and Alicia were wonderful hosts, giving us our privacy but always available. We did some fishing and hiking and visited the Natural Stone Bridge in...
