"Overall you get what you pay for, probably the cheapest options in the area. Room is basic but super nice bathroom, big bathtub, strong water pressure and clean bathroom. However, it would be better if they can improve the room smell. I think they tried by placing with some air freshener inside the room. But there’re some damped smells, which stinks all my clothes and towels even they are in my luggage.
Location wise- close to the shop strews and there’s a drugstore opened until midnight next...

"Kuretake Inn Fujisan was a nice spot to stay in and had a lot to offer. There were nice spa facilities, plenty of amenities (even manga to read), and a lovely breakfast every morning. The rooms were kept tidy and the staff were very helpful and kind. I would stay again."

"The hotel is located in a walkable distance from Fuji JR station (8-10mins). The room is spacious which has two double beds and a small dining table. Washroom is bright and spacious too. It is very clean. The staff there are nice and very helpful. We are so satisfied with the stay as it is exceed our expectation with an economic price. "

"Staying at Numazu Club was magical. It truly felt like a hidden gem. The stuff was very welcoming and made every wish possible. My financé proposed to me on the last night in the private dining room in the old tea house. It will be a place that will forever stay in our hearts. Thank you Numazu Club team for making this stay so special. "

"This hotel was amazing. The staff and housekeeping were nice and exceptional. The public bath was very nice and there is a separate one for women that they keep a key for at the front. The room met my needs as the area was nice, quiet and calm. As an added bonus, you get views of Mt. Fuji almost everywhere you walk."

"Room is ok but the hotel structure is showing its age. Staff are excellent."

"Hotel que ha sido reformado, aun así los muebles un poco antiguos, pero es una cadena hotelera que cuida mucho a sus clientes.
Una parte muy buena es que el parking está junto al hotel y es totalmente gratuito. "

"I found out about this place from Love Live Sunshine.
The hotel is on island so you have to get to it by boat (hotel takes care of this for you) is very cool. It adds an extra step, but it’s worth it.
The room had a great view of Mt. Fuji across the ocean.
The Japanese restaurant was amazing!
The hotel staff were nice and helpful.
The Love Live room was a nice touch.

"Parking was not included and cost JPY 1000 per day. Parking is free of charge only if booked directly with hotel’s homepage. Hotels.com should include parking an option. Hotels.com used “Half pension” but it did not completely describe what was really offered. It was full buffet morning and evening. "
"Sjovt at prøve en traditionel ryokan, men én overnatning havde været fin. Byggepladsen overfor hotellet ødelagde stemningen af at bo ude i skoven. Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme, men da hotellet er meget lydt, kunne vi høre støvsugere allerede klokken 07:30. Generelt var der støj fra gangene hele natten lang. Tv’et ved spisebordene var også med til at ødelægge illusionen om at bo på en traditionel ryokan. "
"The room was wonderful!! Very relaxing even though there is a road under the hotel. Remember there is no staff at the hotel and no restaurants near by. So you need to think about breakfast and dinner. We used the local 7/11 and Gora is only one station away. Had an amazing massage in the evening. "
"We booked this hotel to get a break from the Japanese city life, but we were quite disappointed. Looking at the pictures when we booked this room, they looked spacious and of newer date, with a private open hot spring - not exactly true to the real deal. When opening the door to the room, we were met with an awful odor, best described as a mix of filth and enclosed dirty moist laundry. The futons were nice though, but the open air hot spring is not open air. It is just a tub that does not get emptied after use - and it is not outdoor. There is no way to get fresh air into the room, since the only window is facing the "open air bath", so you get all the most humid air right back into the room, and the tub is so noisy, we couldn't even sleep with the window open. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the walls had dirty stains on them as well - to pricy to be this filthy. We had breakfast and dinner included, and they did switch the menu on night number two, but is was traditional Japanese cuisine, and did not quite fall into out taste, but it looked like the locals enjoyed it. And there was way too much food. We did not have a chance to try the public onsen, since we have tattoos, so I can say if it was good or bad. The staff was nice, and even though they did not speak English well (some of them not at all) we managed to communicate, and they did a great job. I don't think I will recommend this place to other people."

"The hot spring was nice and clean and you get a private time slot, which is very nice. The rooms are cozy and have a balcony, Netflix etc. the staff is friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice experience. "
"Stort Hotel med rigtig god service, gode faciliteter og god beliggenhed. Vores værelse var rent og velindrettet med udsigt til søen med god plads til en familie på 4. Onsen var en stor oplevelse. Gratis shuttlebus rundt i området og til stationen."
