Only two quibbles:- (a) the breakfast at £15 per head was very expensive. We bought granola, yoghurt, orange juice and pain au chocolat from the Sainsbury's Local down the road at less than a third of the price, and ate it in our room.
(b) the view from our (rear) window was pretty awful - air conditioning units, dirty kitchen extracts, piles of rubbish, etc.

Personally I think it’s expensive for what it is.
I have stayed at nicer hotels that are cheaper. The biggest let down was the breakfast on the second day. My wife waited 20mins for an omelette, and not one member of staff cleared a table. When we left after breakfast there were 8 empty tables that hadn’t been cleared and re set! One can only assume that there was a staff shortage that morning.
Apart from that the hotel was comfortable and clean.

What all travelers need to be aware of is, you'll have to include any guest you are expecting to see at the hotel as part of your booking if your guest is coming any time from 7pm because they deploy security guards at the entrace (forget about your access cards). And you will be checked in using a printed register from 7pm onwards each time you go in/out. Sad to say but worth mentioning for others to know and be aware.

Excellent stay as always! Stunning hotel and staff are always willing to help. Only one thing that was disappointing was, our room was located near the cleaners cupboard we had a 2 night stay and both mornings were woke up by the loudness of the cleaners which was disappointing and meant that both mornings we were up at the crack of dawn way before our set alarms.

So clean. Great location with easy parking. Good sized immaculate room. Comfortable beds. Staff kind and friendly and so helpful - one exception in the bar when we were served without eye contact, had to pour our own drinks and then the pay machine was simply thrust in our direction without even telling us the total.

Do not stay here unless you want to be kept awake all night by pounding night clubs/ drunk guests slamming doors. Also don’t expect to be served at the bar at all, as they’re unlikely to have most items on the menu & that’s if you’re lucky enough to get served.

stayed overnight as was going to the Utility arena to watch Peter Kay, hotel really central 2 min walk to the arena plenty of bars restaurants near by.

We had a really nice room, comfy bed. Check in was a big problem. We checked in advance, although I understand check in time is 3pm and we arrived at 12 noon, it would have been kind if staff could allocate us a room before 3pm as we were waiting all this time.

The amenities and rooms are high standards, as expected. Parking space next to the building (extra charge), gym, hotel umbrellas available for rental and room upgrade received with Expedia Gold customers. We had troubles having lunch at the restaurant or bar, even though advertised as available from 12:00 everywhere in the hotel, so don't rely on that. Overall a mixed bag, good infrastructures with room for improvement on management.

Someone broke into my expedia account and used my money to book 2 nights at this hotel. When I saw what's happening I called the hotel and expdia immediately to report while theif was still accommodating at the hotel. They didn't do anything about it. Since s/he already checked in they just let her stay and didn't refund my money. I highly believe that they are part of this scam. Don't stay here they can steal your card information and fraud you too.

Perfect for Symphony Hall excellent staff bedroom door looked as if it had been forced not a good loo. A little attention to detail around paintwork in bathroom would make a huge difference. These are small things but make a difference
