Delicious local food--each of our meals were excellent and we ate all but one of them there over our eight night stay. Definitely intend to be a return guest. "If you are looking for a jungle experience, you’ve found the right hotel. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is exceptional! They know you by name and go out of their way to cater to you. There are several onsite activities included such as river tubing, hiking, and feeding the farm animals on site. This lodge was better than we expected. We highly recommend. There is no AC but there is a ceiling fan and it cools down the room. "

"My husband and I visited as the first part of our Anniversary trip. We were greeted by Eric at the airport immediately after our arrival and had a great ride to the resort. Eric was also our guide for tour of Caracol Ruins, Cave & Pools, he also took us on the most spectacular cave tubing experience and set up with zip lining. We admired so much his knowledge of the land and the animals! The resort itself is breathtaking and so relaxing. The whole Tut family are so kind and accommodating. Food...

"What an incredible experience we had at Hidden Valley wilderness Lodge. From the moment we got there until the day that we had to leave, our Vacation was made amazing by the wonderful staff. Besides being absolutely beautiful there, the staff went above and beyond to make my wife and I have the most memorable anniversary ever. "The experience our family had at Black Rock Lodge exceeded anything I could have wished for. From the moment Fernando picked us up at the airport, we knew we were in for a good time. The nearly 2 1/2 hour drive went fast as he thought of everything. He had water and snacks ready for us when we got into the vehicle. We made a stop for iced coffee and saw a fabulous wood working gallery before reaching the lodge. The most unexpected thing for me was his willingness to make an unplanned visit ...

"Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. Rooms and the restaurant was very clean.. also a small gift shop on site was nice. The bungalos were very neat with a nice fans...
