"Mariposa Jungle Lodge is such an incredible place! Its located near towns and San Ignacio, along with the Pine Reserve. It was a great location to explore the Cayo area from. "An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!"

"This place was amazing. The view of the wilderness was awesome. We stayed in the Firewatch villa and had a front row seat to various birds with a great view. We took a guided tour of the property and saw 4 waterfalls, a hawk and had a private lunch at the secret pool with another waterfall and hammock. The staff was amazing. "Amazing stay in nature with hosts that were welcoming and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet stay in nature. Best to come with a car so you can get around easily. Some great walks and maya sites near by, not to mention the chocolate tour at ixcacao. Can't wait to come back with our son to stay again ! "

"We had a good stay at Blue Tang Inn. Friendlyand helpful staff and good location for the hotel. In the pictures it looks like you can go and take a swim at the beach just below the hotel but it seems like the have changed the conditions of the beach after those pictures was taken."

"A worn-down hotel on the shore of the Belize River. Room was OK, but not completely clean. We got spotty sheets with holes. The pools were filled with leaves, and we didn't see anyone use them at any point. Construction workers were fixing up the place, but they started cutting rocks at 7 am, which meant no more sleep for us. Not an enjoyable stay."
