"My care takers, Yvonne and Norman is what made my stay at North beach the most memorable! They treat their guest like family and make sure you are safe and fed with their home made authentic Belizean breakfast. Any issue I had they took care of it immediately. They kept me informed of any specials around the island and even invited me out to drinks and wings on my last day there. The retreat itself is so beautiful. the beachfront looks like a photo straight from a postcard. It is Amazing...

"Could not find this place with my google map, host seemed friendly when we eventually got in touch, but it was getting dark, could not reach host by phone, and we did not feel safe in that community to keep looking for the house. Ended up renting a hotel. Probably a good spot, just a bad experience for us. Never did find the place."

"Property was very far from town because of road conditions. Hosts are nice and once we really knew food choices, cook did a great job feeding us. Pier and palapa good, beach dirty. Excursions right from dock were awesome! House needs a little tlc. Be prepared to have to pick all of your meals and times and make your own coffee. "

"Rustic great setting. You are in the jungle. Everything is in good condition and any minor issues were promptly resolved. Be sure to have some meals in the on site restaurant (advance noticebrequired) for excellent Mayan style cuisine at very reasonable price. Location is excellent for all major area attractions. Highly recommend"

"Blue Bay Cottages is a beautiful peaceful and quiet location. The room is very clean and has everything you need. The owner , Francis, is very nice and knowledgeable about the island and he goes out of his way to make sure the accommodations are great and answer questions you may have. "Ummmm…. Where to begin. The property has a view like no other. However….its clean but not clean, it’s great but not great lol. The treehouse has great potential, definitely needs A/C we had a pretty rough sleep unless you’re use to the heat. Being from Canada we almost melted. It’s tidy and livable but definitely not clean. The bedding and towels were clean. But the toilet, fridge, sink, dishes and drying rack all needed a good wipe down. I was happy we had travel Lysol wipes to say the least....

"Casa Amarillo is perfect for up to 5 couples! The house was clean, the two kitchens make it very convenient and the pool was very clean as they stopped by almost every morning to clean it! Ester couldn’t have made our trip any smoother. She answered all questions, booked our flight from Belize City to Ambergris Caye and our shuttles to the house. Super host, great home and Belize is amazing!"

"This property was a trek- in the best way. The scenery is idyllic and so peaceful. The home is gorgeous and everything we hoped for. Lucy’s cooking was a huge bonus!! Go for her belezian breakfast AND the monkeys you can see from the balcony… we did a jungle river tour and horseback ride that basically left from the property and were life changing. I could not recommend a place more!"

"We were hard pressed for choice, but really happy we ended at The Palms. Very nice staff, clean pool and even a small and clean gym. Only minor issue were some glass shards that house keeping had overlooked - it was taken care of promptly when we pointed it out. Water pressure on the third floor is not impressive and the beds are memory foam, which is a matter of preference. A/C was super efficient and the selection in the minibar very good. Limited choice of restaurants nearby, but for a stay of two nights it was perfect! Would recommend to a friend and come back if we are ever in town again. "
