"Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice."

"I got the impression that Yankee Inn has quite a history, although it has been recently updated and renovated. The staff were available and friendly. At times I felt I was on a 1950s movie set, imagining Bing Crosby singing in my head. I ultimately extended my stay because it's location was a hub for the many surrounding activities--it's slightly over an hour drive to Hartford, and I was happy to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and return to the beauty of the Berkshires. "The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was self-serve and offered many choices. However, there were several problems. There was a broken window pane.. The master light switch did not work. The lighting that did work was not adequate. The bathmat was shredding. The toilet roll holder was broken. There was dirt on the floor.
