Unik beliggenhed og fin service
Vi var af sted i 2 hold: vi selv + vores søn og barnebarn på 14 - Hotellet valgt på grund af den sublime beliggenhed. Aldrig før har vi boet så centralt i Barcelona og alligevel 100 % roligt - og nemt, når man først een gang har prøvet elevatorsystemet! Morgenmad i en af de to cafeer LIIGE uden for heller ikke noget problem. At vores Taxa ikke ville køre ind i gågadesystemet, da vi ankom dagen før vores søn og barnebarn, var TRÆLS, men vi vidste jo, at der ikke var langt at gå - og dagen efter kom næste hold til døren i taxa. Taxa til lufthavnen var ikke noget problem heller. Meget nemt at finde spisesteder og opsøge gamle favoritter med udgangspunkt i hotellet. Eneste minus: kun een stol på værelset.

Værelse nr. 1 er decideret dårlig, da det ligger lige ud til indgangen og elevatoren. Så der er meget støj fra øvrige gæster når de står og venter på elevatoren.

Perfect hotel in the middle of everything
Nice and quiet small hotel in the middle of the Gotic district. Everything was new and clean. The room was a bit small but with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel does not offer breakfast but don't worry, there are lots of cafes in the street. My best recommendations. I will definitely come back.

Hidden gem in the heart of Barcelona.
I stayed at CoolRooms in Barcelona last week for a few days. This beautiful hidden gem of a hotel is one of the best stays I’ve had in a long time. Since I was travelling alone; it was important for me to find a place that was easy to get to and felt safe and also was near public transportation. It definitely surpassed my expectations. Also a special thanks to the kindest receptionist that went far and beyond to help me with some administrative challenges I had during my trip. So if you’re here thinking about booking this hotel, don’t hesitate! 😃

Helt fantastisk sted. Vi følte os virkelig velkomne. Havde booket 2 suiter, og ved vores ankomst fik vi frit valg mellem de 3 suiter, de har. Beliggenheden er super, og hotellet er lækkert. Vi anbefaler det klart til alle;-)

Lidt udfordringer med at der manglede toiletpapir næsten hver dag på hotellet... Der var åbenbart en fejl i leverancen til hotellet men personalet var super søde.

My wife and I arrived at the property earlier than check in. We did not expect a room earlier than check in but we did expect the front desk lady to be courteous! When in fact she was rude! We left and went to have a coffee and returned 30 minutes later. She was helping an older couple and let them sit down and have a conversation with her in regards to things to do in town. We weren’t even offered water. Lol. When we finally received our room even before check in time which was nice the bathroom was full of black mold on the shower walls. The lady at the front desk needs to take a lesson in customer service and the housekeeper needs the correct tools and chemicals to clean properly.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, pleasant room with plenty of storage. This place is challenging to find, so figure out how to get there (and find the entrance - it’s not obvious from the street!). We called the front desk and they came down and found us :)

The property was immaculate and the staff was accommodating and personable. Henrike (Henry) was very helpful with recommendations. I loved that the property is not accessible to the public and you had to have a room there in order to get in. We loved our stay at Malda and we definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great service. We'll definitely be coming back.

The staff is terrific. The rooms are beautiful especially bathrooms. Warning that the small rooms are just that—small so unless ur traveling with only a carryon reserve a larger room.

This hotel was great! Right in the centre of Gothic Quarter, quick walking distance to Placa Catalunya, La Rambla, Cathedral, shopping, food, metro, really everything. The staff was great and very helpful. Room was really nice, great sun and very comfortable.

Location is excellent. Deluxe rooms are by far the smallest we ever lived in, no tables or chairs. Very good bathroom. Difficult to enter the first time, we just randomly pressed the code keys until someone started the elevator. The beds memory foam are firm, not to everyones taste.

Not sound proof like stated in the listing. Otherwise amazing and clean. A little hard to find. Right in the middle of tourist central. Close to lots of cafes and eateries.

The property staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Travelled with a 2 year old and staffed made everything work for us. Very beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Bars and restaurants are accesible and very close to Rambla street without the buzz of cars and people.

A great hotel
Excellent hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is central to so many things and within walking distance of many places we wanted to visit. And the little restaurant/tapas bars on the side streets surrounding us were very very good.
