The Space:
With an elevated position offering uninterrupted sea and bush views and stunning sunsets across the Bay to Motuihe Island and beyond. An abundance of sun, bird song and the ever-changing light will make your stay a memorable experience. The romance of passing yachts, the ferry gliding to and from the island and an iconic, weathered red woolshed on the foreshore draws your eye and is a reminder of yesteryear. On a clear night view the dazzling display of stars in the Milky Way and the far distant City lights and Sky Tower.

Take your book, music or wine and find the bench nestled amongst the shared gardens located at the entrance for some ‘you’ time and fully unwind.

And now for the interiors- A spacious light filled studio, high ceilings, comfortable queen size bed with walk-in wardrobe, ensuite with heated flooring. Thoughtful touches provide a space with a true sense of style and comfort. A flat screen television, complimentary Wifi and Netflix is available to enjoy. While it does not have a kitchenette, there is a microwave, toaster, tea and coffee facilities with a bar fridge available. There are two external white wicker lounge chairs and side table to ensure enjoyment of your morning coffee.

Karaka studio has a shared entrance foyer with the main residence, and onsite parking is available a few steps from your door.

There are four units in total available at this property that can sleep up to 11 people – a great option for groups travelling together.

Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1 - queen bed

Please note: An exit cleaning fee of $120 and $25 per person applies to each stay. Beach towels can also be hired for $7.50 per person, per stay. Minimum stays: 3 nights between mid December and early January, 2 nights at all other times.

The Neighborhood:
A nature and walkers paradise, the property is situated on the popular Te Ara Hura track and trails start in either direction form the property entrance.

Getting Around:
Waiheke Island is 20km long. Our properties are mainly located in the first 10km. Taxis are available but can be expensive. Regular bus services operate around the island. There is easy parking at the property.

Interaction with Guests:
Our team is available 7 days a week 8:30 am to 5pm for guests and for emergencies after hours.
