"Orlando and his family are such a beautiful hearted family. The animal experience and getting to know how the farm is worked was great. The class on how to make cheese, empanadas,bread and tortillas by Yolanda was amazing. We enjoyed so much that we cooked all day. The laughs will be remembered for life. "The farmhouse is OK. Host is very friendly and helpful. But the second night we didn't have hot water at all and found a pretty big scorpion and a tarantula on the wall and on the ceiling."

"Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend."

"This upper level of a two-story condo has such a beautiful tree house feel. We loved all the windows and jungle sounds. It was clean and well-equipped and we didn't hear any noises from the neighbors around us. Beds were very comfy. A lovely 15-minute drive back into Monteverde. It felt secluded without feeling isolated and is near many options for tours of all kinds. Highly recommend!"

"The property and Host were exceptional! Patrick was accommodating and his team were so wonderful and enjoyable to be around. I would highly suggest utilizing the driver, Miguel (he is so nice and fun to talk to), definitely take advantage of the included breakfast (ask for the pico), and take advantage of the chef's dinner - all outstanding. "Just like everyone has stated, this property is beautiful. The property is very well maintained. It is like one big garden with lots of flowers and walking paths. The paths that go through the forest and also down to the lake are very enjoyable to walk along. The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. The house stayed cool with the windows open. We had 7 of us there and had plenty of room. We didn't have any issues at all and really enjoyed the place. I would not hesitate to go...
