Don't trust the pictures
Even though the view was amazing, i would not return to sound view. The receptionist who check us in, was borderline rude and not very helpful, the hotel over all was worn (don't trust the pictures) and the amazing view was screened by how dirty the windows were. Loved the room and the lighting for reading while on the couch. Both the bathroom and living area were spotless, well it, and comfy. Breakfast selection was the best I've seen in similar type hotels in a LONG time. Staff was great and helpful.

This place was a dream. Super comfortable. The host has thought of everything, including a sweet holiday welcome gift. Everything is in walking distance- I didn't use my car for 2 days. It was wonderful to walk along the water into town. What a great retreat!

We absolutely loved the place and had a great time. There was plenty of space for the kids to spread out and enjoyed the indoor fireplace. The sunrise views were amazing and it's always special to stay on the water. Communication with the owner was great. We hope to visit again.
