This is by far the best 5* hotel i have tried. Not one single negative thing to complain about. Rooms are big, bathroom is big, lots of very good elevators, top security, valet parking, huge fitness and spa area, very nice restaurants & excellent service from everyone. Whatever you ask for, the answer is yes. Special thanks from my brother and I to: Jeriah from the Bar Caprice, Amira from the Crystal Lounge, Bahy from Restaurant Nur, Michael from Restaurant Salt & the very charming and professionel Omar from the reception☀️😎🤗

Wonderful service from all levels of staff. Because this was our second stay, they sent us a bowl of fruit and a Thankyou card. The rooftop bar and restaurant was lovely.

Beautiful but my least favourite hotel on trip
It’s a wonderfully presented hotel but in a really boring part of town, also not very walkable in the immediate vicinity, which I usually like to do to explore. In hindsight it’s probably a business trip type hotel. I was also disappointed in service one of the days I stayed, a lady loudly disclosed my room number in the breakfast hall (which I didn’t appreciate for my privacy) and made a fuss while I was in the middle of eating saying breakfast wasn’t included, which it actually was. Even if it wasn’t included it was a silly thing to make a fuss over as if I was going to run away and not pay or couldn’t afford it, which is a rude assumption when I would have happily paid when settling my bill on checkout if it wasn’t included, which it was. Aside from this the staff were generally nice but the breakfast incident left a bad impression and seemed unprofessional. Especially when comparing to some other amazing hotels I’ve stayed in on this trip, this stay fell short of my expectations of Fairmont hotels I’ve enjoyed in other cities.

I booked a Fairmont expecting to get the fairmont experience, unfortunately that was not the case and I am surprised! I got a room with hair in the bathroom, no tissues, missing amenities and torn bath towels and torn sheets! I made a booking with the salon only to be informed it wasn’t confirmed! Similar situation with the Spa! Staff were not so friendly and barely managed to smile! Booked dinner for a special occasion, nothing was mentioned or celebrated as requested! Very surprised and very disappointed with the whole experience! Oh, not to forget, every night my room key would not work and I would have to go again to reception to get it reactivated! Seriously disappointed!

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of luxurious amenities and dining choices in the hotel. The area seems not to have many other dining options except you went to a restaurant from another hotel. We had a terrible nights sleep on the first night due to broken air conditioning. We mentioned it a few times but although it was finally fixed around 6am in the morning, there was no attempt to compensate us for spending so much for a nights while getting no sleep. We thought that was weird as hotels have compensated for less and in this case, we were up all night. They forgot our breakfast order on the morning of our departure - but the chef did make hasty attempts to remedy this which we appreciate. It was not the best of our stays in Jordan even though it was the most expensive and we thought we would use this as a treat for us as a couple, it sadly went sideways for us.

Not 5 star service…
Room was ok but service is below average for 5* hotel. Pool was supposed to be open in October but was told it’s close due to cold weather (was 29 degree C) Cleaning not top for this category. Hotel seem understaff in some parts. Still wait reply to my message after 3 days.. big deception should found better alternative in this price category.

Loved it
This hotel was luxurious and friendly. We have stayed here twice because it felt like a home away from home. It may seem ostentatious but the people are so helpful; the food delicious and our room was comfortable.

The rooms were nice and so were the bathroom layouts. However, the room was completely dirty and housekeeping service was bed. They did apologize after I complained but I was not compensated or given a gift although I provided evidence that would have caused some other guest to simply leave the hotel. Staff was not welcoming during check-in but became nice after the complaints.

Outstanding
This hotel even smells like a 5 star hotel. The staff, the food, the room, the entire building is extraordinary. We had a medical situation that the staff guided us through. Outstanding. Breakfast was delicious. Try the hotel restaurant NUR. The Lebanese food was so yum. We didn't want to leave this place.
