"This is a charming home in a great location in Alexandria, near the metro, a Whole Foods and Old Town. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies like coffee, oils for cooking, and napkins. We also enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the morning. Maggie is a responsive and helpful host, she also sent me something I left behind during our stay. "Great location for us to use as a base camp to go explore Alexandria and DC. It was an easy walk to the metro station, the Potomac and grocery stores. We’d stay there again if we head back to the area. Thanks for having us."

"The location was excellent — very convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and everything Old Town has to offer. The property itself was comfortable and a great home base for exploring the area.The main downside was the noise. The bed room facing the busy street was quite loud, especially at night and early in the morning , and it made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. "The location for this property was great. We could walk to Old Town Alexandria and to the Metro to get into DC easily. The home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen had minimal cooking utensils but was well stocked on coffee. We didn’t hear from the owner except when we messaged him but we also didn’t need anything during our visit. Great location to stay when visiting the DC area"

"The place was great. 10 minute walk to Metro, Chewish deli next door is a great, easy breakfast. Parking wasn't difficult (if you can parallel park), even with 5-6 spaces closed due to construction. I would bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. A lot of windows high up that don't have blinds/curtains, and it can get bright in the morning. "

"We enjoyed our time spent at this cozy apartment. It was right in the heart of Mt. Vernon and surrounding area. The apartment was decorated so nice with all amenities (even coffee!) The shower and water pressure was amazing, especially after walking all day at George Washington’s homesite! We hope to be back again!"
