"The hotel is located in a quiet residential area on a waterfront. It was between Cardiff Bay (15-20 minute walk) and city centre (15 minute walk). The kitchenette was adequate to prepare/cook a simple meal. The breakfast was good with a range of food, including a cooked breakfast. We thought it was excellent value for money."

The hotel was perfect: the bar was well-tended and cozy (and beautiful), the lobby was grandiose, the staff was attentive and kind, and the rooms pleasant and clean. We couldn't want for more.

Vi blev mod betaling (30 £) pr. nat opgraderet fra et Deluxe-værelse til en junior-suite. Penge vi godt kunne have sparet - set i bagspejlet. Eneste forskel virker til at have været en større gang hen til badeværelset.

"Sadly both my Wife and I came away with bites after being in the bed and there was a faulty fire alarm which went off in the night for which we had to call reception for. We were told the fire alarm was faulty due to a wire and no one had come out to fix it. We were concerned it would not go off if there was a real fire. Not impressed or was it IHG standard "

"I en forlænget weekend i Cardiff med halvmarathon er det ikke OK at der ikke er styr på bemanding til morgenmaden. Marriott tillader sig at mere end fordoble prisen på en lørdag til søndag overnatning, så de ved godt der kommer mennesker, bare ikke til morgenmaden, hvor alt var et kaos og buffet var tom.
Generelt var hotellet slidt, en ud af tre elevatorer kørte ikke, vandet i bruseren var ekstrem svær at indstille temperatur på, håndklædevarmer virkede ikke.

"Excellent hotel , had a superior room with a view , but the only down fall was the air con wasn’t well in the room but other from that from the spa to breakfast top notch will be definitely returning in the future , the room was cleaned to a high standard to the staff on arrival was really welcoming, "

Morgenmad er ok. Super røræg og spejlæg, men bacon er nærmest ikke stegt. Der er to slags brød, der skal ristes, ellers er det for tørt til at spise. Croissanter virkede nogle dage fra dagen før.
Sidste dag spiste vi tidligt (da morgenmad åbnede). Der gik 1/2 time, førend der blev sat ost, pålæg og muffins ind. Når morgenmad åbner kl. 7.00 skal tingene være klar.
Meget lidt miljøvenligt med mange små glas og bøtter.
Kommer vi til Cardiff igen, vælger vi et andet hotel."
"Apartment are ok but not in the best shape. Some windows wouldn’t close proper. When very hot there were no fans and no possibility of having ones brought.
Area around is very nice but lots of noise as one of the restaurants plays music many hours a day. Also my location wasn’t great as there was a garbage container just below my balcony which meant I couldn’t open windows too often as flies would come in.
Overall the apartment was nicely located but I would recommend a hotel. "
