"A bamboo hideaway above the Ayung River. Mahajiva is all about atmosphere. The bamboo architecture is beautiful; the villa is secluded and far from Bali's tourist crowds, and at night the only sound is the hum of river in the valley below. The outdoor pool was perfect after full days of exploring; the villa was clean and comfortable, with AC in the bedroom and reliable WiFi; and the Green School, Taani restaurant, Kul Kul farm, and Bamboo U are a five-minute walk away. Loved the black spiral...

"This was an absolutely amazing place. Nestled right along the sacred Ayung River, this place is so much more than a resort. Sakti Dining Room culinary experience blew me away. The combination or flavor and tradition was a high point of every day. The staff at the resort were polite, respectful and always greeted you with warmth. Although, the...

"This is the worst hotel we ever stayed at. For a starter they do not have a manned reception but we were told that we could call them 24/7, and we could but when calling in the morning for breakfast we had to try to reach them for more than 30 minutes the same happened when trying to call during the evening. Second when you take a shower it is outside with view over rice fields, and a walk path which means very often people are standing just outside so you have no privacy when showering. Third...
