"A bamboo hideaway above the Ayung River. Mahajiva is all about atmosphere. The bamboo architecture is beautiful; the villa is secluded and far from Bali's tourist crowds, and at night the only sound is the hum of river in the valley below. The outdoor pool was perfect after full days of exploring; the villa was clean and comfortable, with AC in the bedroom and reliable WiFi; and the Green School, Taani restaurant, Kul Kul farm, and Bamboo U are a five-minute walk away. Loved the black spiral...

"Ha sido todo excelente, el trato, la ubicación, la limpieza, el desayuno, TODO EXCELENTE. recomendable"

"Lovely stay. Need to get a grab into town but the local rice fields are a beautiful walk."

"Friendly host. The room was updated so it looked nice. There were spiders and spider webs so the place needed improvement with cleaning. I also had a hard time sleeping due to noises from people in the kitchen and roosters crowing. I’m talking early morning like 4/5am. But the cost of the room was cheap."

"This is the worst hotel we ever stayed at. For a starter they do not have a manned reception but we were told that we could call them 24/7, and we could but when calling in the morning for breakfast we had to try to reach them for more than 30 minutes the same happened when trying to call during the evening. Second when you take a shower it is outside with view over rice fields, and a walk path which means very often people are standing just outside so you have no privacy when showering. Third...

"The staff members were exceptionally kind and accommodating. It was truly the best service I have experienced, provided without the expectation of a tip for every small gesture. Our group of four was treated like royalty throughout our stay. I would certainly return and stay for a longer duration. We even had the opportunity to speak with the hotel owner about the local area and how the business managed to survive during the pandemic. From the driver and front desk personnel to the cooks, every...

"This was an absolutely amazing place. Nestled right along the sacred Ayung River, this place is so much more than a resort. Sakti Dining Room culinary experience blew me away. We truly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast menu was different everyday and every meal was a masterpiece of flavor, color, and vitality. The combination or flavor and tradition was a high point of every day. The staff at the resort were polite, respectful and always greeted you with warmth. Although, the...

"recently had the pleasure to stay at Wanda Shanti and it truly exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. "

"I enjoyed my stay at this property. The gardens and feel down by the river are lovely, the food was very good. The spa is very expensive but our spa/massage ladies were great. I wasn't very impressed with our room. There was an issue with my expedia booking/confirmation stating I will receive a free massage. This didn't come through at their end but they honoured it regardless which we were thankful for. Overall despite enjoying our stay I feel the prices are too high compared to other places...

"Super friendly and communicative staff, awesome private villa area, beautiful accommodation. Convenient amenities supplied such as clean towels, water, toothbrush shampoo and body wash. Located right next to Warung Semana so easy access for good food. Cleanliness 4/5"

"Nice villa"

"This is probably the most authentic Ubud / Bali experience you can get! The architecture, the food, the staff, the closeness to the jungle, the culture - all of these have made our stay so incredible! We felt like home and the staff were extremely responsive to all our needs; in particular Devani and Wayan have made our stay so comfortable and safe! The villa was very clean, exactly as shown in the photos - a dreamy space! We travelled there with our 2 year old and the staff were very mindful...

"Excellent établissement, nous avons adoré notre séjour La chambre était toujours propre, et le reste de la villa également Le personnel était d’un accueil irréprochable, vraiment adorable et attention Nous avons pu les joindre pour enlever un gecko dans la salle de bain, ils sont intervenus en 5 minutes chrono"

"The staff was very helpful - in making sure the toilet did not leak and they gave very good suggestions as to good restaurants in the area. The pool was clean :-) The room was cleaned twice when we stayed for 9 days - would have wanted cleaning upon request. The whole property was kept clean. Would highly recommedn the place"

"Such a lovely place to stay in Ubud. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, the grounds were beautiful and peaceful, and the whole place felt just like I was in Bali. Not to far from Ubud shopping. I am looking forward to staying here again in September. Thank you "

"This villa is basic and was perfect for me for my one week stay. I enjoyed privacy, the comfortable sofa on the terrace, and a hot bath in a jungle setting. Overall it was peaceful aside from some construction noise and traffic in the distance. Lots of frogs too through the night but the sounds of nature are wonderful. Biggest downside was the road to get to it which is very challenging for cars. Better if you plan to use a scooter or scooter taxi. "

"We had an amazing stay - peaceful, clean, friendly - exactly what we were looking for. A perfect blend of rustic and convenience. Beautiful private location. Meals super easy to get through Grab app. Taxi’s also easy and quick to get. "
