Great option
The property is somewhat dated with a few dents and scrathes here and there. It could do with a major overhaul. Under my bed had not been cleaned recently. My safe worked but was missing a handle. But is is a comfortable and safe place to be. The food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. Overall, especially considering the price, it is a great option in the center of town. And for a Dane like me, it's conveniently situated across the street from the Danish embassy. I will definitely be back.

Dirty
Had lots of mosquitoes in my room and need insects to get rid of it. The room stink of excessive smoking, I reported it but they didn't moved me to a new room. The carpenter from the hallway and the stairways were Dirty and full of dust. Internet was of on several occasions and there was light off for an hour without any notice.

I had a fantastic experience at The Alisa Hotel! Dorinda, and her entire team were professional, authentic, experienced, friendly, and kind. Everyone was amazing, from the airport shuttle team, the property gate staff, the reception and lobby teams, the porters, the restaurant and bar staff, to the room staff and parking attendants. The rooms were clean and had a well-stocked coffee and tea station. The hotel staff ensured guests stayed hydrated by replenishing bottled water daily and as needed. The hotel has many amenities and is located in a secure central location. I look forward to returning for future visits and highly recommend The Alisa Hotel!"

The hotel was nice and very accommodating. The hotel staff was also nice and very helpful. The restaurant was not the best when it comes to service. Everything you order, I mean even coffee, takes over 40 minutes before you get it and when you get your food it comes with things you didn’t even order.

Good price and decent facility. The standard rooms are located in another building across the street- one has to know as I didn’t. Excellent food options: breakfast buffet has a lot of selection so os dinner. Room service is also excellent. Gym is good so that is a plus. Airport shuttle available but although I registered they forgot me for a 3 am departure. Finally, staff is friendly and strive to provide good customer service.

Not great but one of the best options in Accra
This would be a 3-star hotel anywhere else but for Accra it’s a 4-star, options are pretty limited and this is one of the few hotels in the sweet spot between really expensive and really bad. This is the international NGO hotel, it’s very clear that it caters to government travelers and NGO employees. It’s dated and a little rundown but it’s also very safe and convenient. I stayed a week and there was no hot water for over 24 hours one of the days, but otherwise it was unremarkable. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful, and everyone means well. I’d stay again, but mainly because there just really isn’t a better option in this price range.

No longer value for money. Prices have increased but not the condition of the rooms and their cleanliness. Was disappointed in the condition of their bathroom in my recent visit. Soap from previous lodgers still left in the sink and generally not clean to the excellent standard typical of Alisa. Not sure what's changed but Alisa is not becoming my favourite hotel in Accra anymore
