Stayed for 1 night in July - despite booking in February, the room we were allocated (303) seemed to be a last resort room. We were in a room in the roof that only had a narrow strip of floor where you could stand up fully - I'm 5'10 so not a giant, but had to walk around with an arm raised to avoid bumping my head. The bathroom had no mirror. The toilet seat was oval sitting on a square basin There were no hangers in the wardrobe. At the rate being charged - I am hugely disappointed. We were staying for a gig at the Piece Hall and left early the next morning. We will not be booking again

You get what you pay for. The room was clean but tired. Mattress needs replacing, shower leaked on floor not sure where from and some furniture had no handles. However it was close to town and plenty of parking. Council car park you can park for free on a Sunday or it's 50p an hour. Staff seemed friendly. Continental breakfast only
