"Hotel was great, room stayed nice and cool, the lobby was cozy and the staff was nice. Breakfast was only waffles and cereal with a few packaged danishes. The room was mostly clean with the exception of my bedspread having dirt or old food on it. We didn’t try the pool."

"This property was fantastic. Checked all boxes for staff, room, cleanliness, and price. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very impressed it had a beautiful, comfortable restaurant and bar on site! We would definitely stay again if in this area! 😀 10 out of 10 for us!!"

"I love everything about the hotel, just few crawling ants on the table. Fumigation is needed. Other than that, I had an excellent stay at the hotel, and staff were awesome"

"Front desk staff were excellent, very personable and efficient.
However, housekeeping knocked on my door at around 7:15AM!!! That is WAY too early to be disturbing people to clean a room! When I informed the front desk lady upon checking out she was very apologetic and said she would say something to them and even offered to make it up to me somehow. I didn't need anything but appreciated her effort in trying to make things right.
But management should tell housekeeping not to knock on doors...

"The location is super clean and the staff was AMAZING. The front desk had this super helpful and smiley staff, her name was Megan, she was so great to deal with all our questions. I had some business in Lockport, IL and the girlfriend stayed back with our pup. It was too hot too be bringing our 8 year old lab everywhere so Megan was able to let us late checkout. Our stay was super relaxed and easy."

"Rigtig god placering og hyggeligt gammelt hotel. Venligt personale. Fint lille fitnessrum.
Men det var næsten umuligt at få sit værelse gjort rent, lykkedes to gange på syv overnatninger, svært at få fyldt kaffe mm op. Morgenmaden var ikke særligt inspirerende, fint med frisk frugt, men ingen ost og friskt brød, kun hvide toastbrød, savnede havregryn/grød, surmælksprodukter og kogte æg, flere dage heller ingen cereals. "
"Had an awesome black friday week stay at this extremely well located hotel with old fashion cosy Chicago style. Pool at top floor was a big plus too! All staff were great but shout out to sweet n cute Vania:) who made my departure a little less painful haha.. I'll be cack soon! "
"Very, very nice hotel in the midst of everything. Nice rooms which delivers as promised. Especially the concierge delivered service beyond belief (sadly I don't remember his name).
The service by the hostess in the rooftop bar were horrendous - never experienced anyone looking so sad for being at work.
Sadly my experience were ruined a bit after coming home, as I felt overcharged by the final bill. I've been trying to get in touch with the hotel since, but have heard no response what so ever.
I cannot give a lower rating than I did, as the hotel overall was amazing, but this situation stops me from wanting to visit or recommend Pendry, regretfully.
