"Really loved staying at Mountain Top. Our room was great except for toilet flushing, but that seems to be a problem throughout the country. The view was amazing from our balcony which had a swinging chair that added to the experience. "Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. "
"First, this is a fantastic hotel. You have to know that it is on a large slope. They have golf carts to carry you up the hill if you need it, but you have to consider it if you have limited mobility.
There is a wonderfull (public) beach you can walk to via a beautiful tropical forest manicured trail from the hotel.
Wildlife is all around. We saw macaws, sloths, monkeys and tucans around and at the hotel.

"Charming hotel great for some alone time with your partner. Went during off season so only three other couples staying there and never rant into all of them at the same time.
