"First, this is a fantastic hotel. You have to know that it is on a large slope. They have golf carts to carry you up the hill if you need it, but you have to consider it if you have limited mobility. There is a wonderfull (public) beach you can walk to via a beautiful tropical forest manicured trail from the hotel. Wildlife is all around. We saw macaws, sloths, monkeys and tucans around and at the hotel. The restaurant is fine but a little expensive. If you have a car there are nice...

"What a great couple of nights! Room was immaculate, spectacular view, and service made us feel welcomed and at home. Big Pura Vida to Carlos - made a good Tico amigo. Food was so good and had a special every night that we ate there both nights.The owner himself introduced himself and extended his appreciation. Little on the pricey side - but worth the personalized service. Highly recommend"

"The staff and the food and the views were all terrific! We sat on the balcony in the hammock and watched the sunrise and sunset, watched and listened to the birds, were amused by the monkeys. The breakfast was great each morning. Omelette and fresh fruit and yogurt and coffee and juice. Fran, the owner, arranged our excursions and shuttle to the airport. She was wonderful to talk to about life. Her Korean restaurant, carambola was delicious. We ate there several times. Jorge took care of us...

"Stayed in the Townhouse suite and it was absolutely amazing! So comfy and beautiful and they restocked snacks and water for me daily. The food at the resort was so good and I felt very taken care of and safe here. They even decorated the place for my husbands birthday! 10/10 service. The butlers went above and beyond."

"Vi mødte op til en sød receptionist. Der var lidt fejl med værelset, men det blev hurtigt rettet, og vi blev opgraderet til en kæmpe suite, med den smukkeste udsigt vi har set. Alle på hotellet var søde og serviceminded. Maden var helt vidunderlig, både morgenmad og aftensmaden var smagen og størrelsen perfekt. Det eneste vi havde lidt med, var vores aircondition på værelset , som larmede en del. "

"This is a unique property if you are looking for something different. Each room is a separate "igloo" so it is very quiet. The grounds are very pretty and quaint. The lobby/restaurant are one space which create a very homy atmosphere. The food was excellent and the bartender was fantastic. The only thing missing in the room was a microwave but the space is limited. There is a mini fridge which is nice. The walk down to the beach is flat and easy. "The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"This place is a Jim, I was so glad to have booked this hotel. It is a bit up the hill, but the view is phenomenal and the staff was amazing and dedicated to make sure my stay was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the air conditioning worked great, the rooms were big with a private patio, the shower was super clean. I definitely recommend and I will go back for sure."
