Very friendly hotel
I stayed there for two nights for a ski weekend with a friend. The hotel is within walking distance from the station (about 7 minutes) and the main street. With a bus stop right outside, it is conveniently located for skiing. The owner is very friendly and helpful, making you feel most welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Front desk was very helpful. Ideally located in the town. After a long day of hiking I wish they had a spa/sauna, but I knew they didn’t when I booked the hotel (hindsight).

Great location. The best views of the Matterhorn specially at breakfast time. This hotel location is perfect super close to the Matterhorn express, Sunnega and gornergrat. Juan the receptionist was super nice. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Just a GREAT hotel. The breakfast views are amazing. One of the best in town, The breakfast food is nice nothing too fancy just your typical European breakfast. They have boiled eggs, yogourt, cheese and bread. They have coffee all day and also they sell wine in the lobby. Just a beautiful hotel location. My only negative is we stayed in the Economy room or the room where you share a bathroom. They warned us before we booked so I shouldn't complain. Although it was a great great price compared to what you have to pay for this location, the room smelled really bad (smoke and mold) and it is super tiny. But I guess you get what you pay for. We paid $170 per night vs $300 per night. Other than that this is a great hotel. Super safe and super great service.

We are a couple from US on a ski trip. We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is good for both skiing and shopping and the room was very clean. Everyone was very friendly and always trying to help. The breakfast is lovely with a great view of the Matterhorn. The only disappointment was the transportation. The staff is not informed enough to help coordinate the transport from the hotel to the train station that requires an additional transfer from the electric taxi to the regular taxi. I wish they would just include the taxi in the hotel price and provide a shuttle. Ski trips are hard due to the extra luggage (ski bags). Help coordinating transportation would enhance the experience. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend Parnass hotel to our friends. Thank you Parnass staff for being so nice and kind with us!

Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Owner and staff are also veey friendly. Toilet is big and nice. Though a distance of walking in the snow from train station to hotel, but overall still managable. The radiators in the room werent working and even after troubleshooting, the issue wasnt resolved. the staff provided portable heaters for us. Overall a pleasant stay for 3 of us.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the check in was amazing, Adeel was so kind and accommodating. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Zermatt. We didn't have a single this go wrong.

Great hotel
Quaint hotel, very clean and comfortable. Great location, near to downtown area restaurants and shopping and the train station. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Single room is small but roomy enough and very cozy. Large balcony with great view. Nice outside sitting area.

Great mountain view
We had a great mountain view room that we could enjoy the sunrise and sunset of Matterhorn without going out waiting. Loved the warming cover of eggs and tea pot. Very cozy and cute.

Excellent location and really lovely hotel rooms! We got an incredible view from our window and every morning with breakfast. The staff were so friendly and attentive! Would definitely recommend this hotel it was perfect for us.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Short walk from train station, quiet location. Comfy bed and all round very nice facilities. Staff were excellent.

Perfectly located, quiet, tidy hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We were very happy with our stay. The proprietress was very helpful in voluntarily offering hiking advice that was particularly useful.

I picked the hotel after reading favorable reviews from others. This is a very nice hotel just 7 min walk from the train station (on the map it looked far away from Zermatt train station). Easy walk to the town center. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel for sky spot. Receptionists are very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was included in our stay and had a moderately good selections. I should say that breakfast was very good. I loved the croissants. I would stay here again if I travel to Zermatt.

Positiv: sehr zentrale Lage, Skibushaltestelle 1-2 min vom Hotel entfernt, fantastischer Ausblick vom Zimmer und vom Frühstücksraum auf das Matterhorn, viele Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung, zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. sehr nettes und sehr hilfreiches Hotelpersonal, Danke nochmal an alle :-) modernes Bad mit toller Ausstattung, alles funktionierte tadellos. praktischer und gut erreichbarer Skiraum/-keller mit Zugangscodes Negativ: kein Rührei/Bacon zum Frühstück Das (Einzel-)Zimmer hätte etwas größer sein können (ich schätze 7,5 m²) . Der Koffer musste immer wieder verstellt werden. Aber egal, Top Hotel !!! und sehr zu empfehlen...

Nice property
I loved the hotel in general. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. The room was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and the view of the Matterhorn from the room balcony was amazing. A couple of items worth mentioning - the water temperature in the shower varied a great deal and often got to cold or to hot to tolerate, and the water pressure varied substantially as well. Also, the down comforter was a little to warm so regulating sleep temperature was somewhat difficult. All and all though - Hotel Parnass was great and I would stay there again!

Hello and thank you for your great comment. The room temperature can be adjusted with a controller. Unfortunately, water pressure cannot be improved, but on average it is quite okay. . We are pleased that you still enjoyed it very much here with us and we hope to welcome you again soon.

Tolles Zimmer mit Aussicht!
Wir haben ein sehr schönes Wochenende hier verbracht. Hatten ein Südzimmer mit Matterhorn gebucht. Der Ausblick war unglaublich, man sieht direkt vom Bett aus den Sonnenaufgang überm Matterhorn. Es gibt einen schönen Garten vor dem Hotel, nach anstrengender Wanderung ideal zum entspannen. An unserem Wochenende fand das Folklorefestival von Zermatt stand, den Umzug konnte man direkt vom Hotelgarten betrachten.
