Luxor Las Vegas – Great Design, Disappointing Rooms During our Las Vegas trip in 2026, we decided to stay at Luxor because of its unique architecture. We had visited before but never stayed overnight. The casino, food court, and common areas are great, but the rooms were disappointing. Our first room overlooked the Strip. It was renovated, spacious, and comfortable for three to four people. Unfortunately, poor cleaning and pests forced us to change rooms. Our second room overlooked the pool but was outdated and poorly maintained. Again, cleanliness was an issue. Mirrors, doors, frames, and surfaces had clearly not been cleaned properly. These are basic details that should be easy to improve. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, and the bathroom ventilation fan was extremely noisy whenever the light was on. On the positive side, Luxor has a great pool area and a spacious, well-equipped fitness center. Sustainability also needs attention, especially the lack of waste separation and recycling facilities. Overall: Luxor is worth visiting for its iconic design and facilities, but the rooms seriously let it down. We’re glad we tried staying here, but next time we’ll probably just visit rather than stay overnight.

The Four Seasons Las Vegas is located at the top floors of the Mandalay Bay. Unfortunately you don’t get a lot of the FS vibe you get at other FS hotels around the world. Could have been any nice hotel really.
