"Very nice hotel in a great spot in the middle of the old city. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The room was not very big, but it was ok.
Bathrobe and slippers were available - and you could get fresh milk for your coffee or tea from the reception.
A great place to stay."

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"The room was very tired, wobbly floorboards, causing the wardrobe to rattle excessively. The bathroom again was tired, the shower was cold. Broken toilet roll holder. It was clean though.
