"Staff were vthe best breakfast was amazing"

"Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return."

"Nice place..a little tricky to find. Service first night good great breakfast...2nd night and breakfast not as professional. Disappointing provision of toiletries....only enough for 1 first night and NONE 2nd night.....just the hand wash!!! Comfortable bed and spacious room with good thoughtful provision of everything else."

"Very basic bed to sleep in prior to early morning flight. Tiny bathroom, small room, squeaky floor - this was not holiday accommodation but fine for what we needed."

"Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!"

"The room was very tired, wobbly floorboards, causing the wardrobe to rattle excessively. The bathroom again was tired, the shower was cold. Broken toilet roll holder. It was clean though. We were hardly in the room anyway, so it did what was needed. The fire alarm went off on the first night, which wasn't a nice wake up call. Luckily it was just someone vaping in their room. The staff were friendly though . I'm was about a 25 minute walk from the station there's a bus also. No 3 heworth cafe was...

"Dejligt sted! Hyggeligt og med dejligt store værelser. Masser af varmt vand i hanerne og bløde håndklæderne. Morgenmaden er lækker og bliver tilpasset efter dine ønsker. Restauranten havde et fantastisk tilbud med en drink og en hovedret for 10£, og den bøf vi fik var både stor og virkelig lækker! Jeg kan kun anbefale dette hotel, og særligt hvis man leder efter en ægte engelsk oplevelse!"

"Very pleasent staff and surroundings. Excellent breakfast. "

"Super hyggeligt sted, som ligger virkelig centralt. Super fin service og imødekommende personale. Privat parkering og dejlig morgenmad "

"Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!"
