The Kitkat suite is based within a converted mill on the river Foss, which once was used to store and distribute the cocoa beans for Rowntrees.

This has inspired the name of the apartment and gives the room charter and charm.



The room includes a double bed with hotel-quality linen and towels.

The seating area with a sofa, smart TV with Netflix, and dining table all look out through the original, arched, panelled windows onto the River Foss.



There is a modern bathroom with a rainfall shower and a well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need.

With complimentary tea, coffee and, of course, a Kit Kat!



The apartment is located on the ground floor (with just two steps at the entrance), has a washing machine, and benefits from free allocated parking just outside the apartment.

Based in the very centre of York, within the city walls. You are a 2-minute walk from the famous 'Shambles' and many more attractions.

York is famous for its independent shops, cafes and restaurants and we are lucky enough to be situated just around the corner from the most up and coming road - 'Fossgate' where you will find the above in abundance.

It provides convenient access to York’s City Centre which is only a few minutes walk away whilst providing a quiet and relaxing ambiance.



Fossgate is on the doorstep and offers numerous bars, cafes, restaurants and shops as well as The Famous ‘Shambles’ and other attractions. There is always something going on in York, and we will happily provide you with a maps and leaflets and information.



There are nearby super markets to stock up during your stay.



The ‘ChocoLets’ apartments are all based in the old Rowntree’s chocolate warehouse.

Now known as Nestle.

Originally one of the largest flour mills in Europe in 1860. The building was situated between the river Foss and Wormald’s cut, The mill closed in 1930 and in 1935 it became the Rowntree and Co’s Navigation Warehouse. Gradually it fell out of use, as road transport replaced river transport. Cocoa bean were brought to the wharf until the 1960s.



In 1989 This beautiful building was restored into apartments and was extensively renovated in 2018 to offer you trendy industrial feel apartments but with all the benefits of hotel luxury.
