"My friend, I & great nephew 13yrs enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this property. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated though the white furniture could do with a lick of paint. Having both a bath & a shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped , clean & a welcome pack was left for us. However the kitchen itself could do with being modernised . "My husband & I stayed 4 days.The apartment was spotless.Beds very comfortable.Small park opposite so not overlooked.Kitchen well equipped although a few dishwasher tablets would’ve been welcome.Nice to have some tea bags/coffee/ sugar & milk very welcome on arrival.The lift goes straight into the apartment.For us an elderly couple it was appreciated although bear in mind there are a number of steps up to the front door,there is a hand rail.The Cliff Railway is at the bottom of the road.Easy...

"Laburnum Cottage is in an ideal location for exploring Bedale and all that North Yorkshire has to offer. Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely garden, and really just everything you need to enjoy a pleasant break. Communication with Terry, the host, is excellent, so no issues there. Second visit to the cottage and would recommend. We will definitely return."
