"It is 20 min from Great Wall of China; but around there is no restaurant. We ate restaurant inside hotel, food is good; also breakfast buffet is the best. Staffs are friendly but no English speaking, we used google translator. Great hotel, strongly recommend if you want to go Great Wall of China "

"Excellent overall very kind personnel but not very well catered to foreign tourism as per language.
But they all did their best and had translating gadgets to help out.
Also the food was good but restaurant would close to early and not provide room service even though in the room they advertise it."

"Check in was ok although a long line with only 2 ppl in front desk. It was prepaid w/double breakfast but the next day the breakfast site could not find my record so the bill was sent to my room. Later then I received a call from front desk to ask how to pay the room fee etc. I replied it was prepaid and then I sent my receipt to front desk, then front desk said they need to verify with if I need to pay or not with financial dept to check if they receive fund or not. No information was replied...

"We had a great 3-day stay at the guesthouse. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful despite limited English skills and the restaurant serves delicious Chinese food.
Located 2 hour drive North of Beijing in a remote village close to the Great Wall, the guesthouse is perfect for a getaway from the busy capital.
The rooms are new with nice facilities and a small courtyard for each room makes it very private.
We will be back in future and we will recommend this guesthouse to others that...

"Helt fantastisk sted!! Vi blev hentet i lufthavnen og kørt 1,5 time op til dette Homestay, som ligger 15 minutter fra Mytian muren. Vi overnattede 2 nætter hos familien, og de hjalp med alt fra installering af kinesiske apps, billetterne for os til besøg på muren, og de lavede særlig aftensmad så min søn kunne prøve dumplings, og generelt lavede de virkelig god mad til os. De kørte os retur til Beijing efter vores 2 dage hos dem.
Sengene er standard kinesiske og hårde, men til gengæld så...

"We paid for 2 rooms and got two very basic rooms with extremely hard beds. The 3rd bed for my son had no mattress and he had to sleep on a quilt. The beds were rockhard. The bathrooms very cramped and dark. The breakfast was purely chinese and we got asked to pay for breakfast even though we had booked rooms WITH breakfast. I cannot recommend this place"

"What a peaceful place, you are really treated like royalty! Was a bit difficult getting hold of the hotel to make a booking.
