"house was actually better than we expected! great for a large group of people"

"There was an issue with the water off so the cleaning staff had no water to clean. So we needed to wash and dry towels and run the dishwasher. The counters and table were sticky etc.The manager was apologetic and offered to send in the cleaners the next day of our stay. We declined as we had already taken care of most of it the first day. There was no adjustment to the cost of our stay for the condition the house was in."

"Windows inoperable are a problem in an un air conditioned house especially when window shades are missing or not working.Microwave does not work.Barbecue is charcoal maybe propane or note type.Definitely a upgrade in progress House size was great for 6 people. "Several security issues - the front door deadbolt didn’t work. The back slider door didn’t lock - it just had a stick. The owner later told me a stick was the most secure way to lock the door. Nope, a lock is, sir. The upstairs rooms locked from the inside and there was not a key to unlock. There was trash piled up outside. There were not enough blankets and pillows and the pillows had no pillow cases. The list goes on. Worst of all was the customer service. The host was unresponsive. So was the...

"Right on the water as promised. The house was comfortable and well stocked with great books and family games (good for a variety of ages). There was excellent privacy and great views. The beds were clean and fresh. We went out to the dunes for sand-boarding and hiked. Staying here made it easy to wash our used clothing and stay comfortable while traveling. This is more than I normally would pay but it was worth it. I will mention, two people in a soft, springy bed is not how I like to sleep. For...

The location is peaceful, the beach views are excellent, and the kitchen/dining/living space is beautiful, all with clear views of the ocean. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, the beds were comfortable, everything was sparkling clean, and the hosts were gracious and communicative. We loved having such a great home base for exploring that part of the coast."
