"A really comfortable place to stay. I had a clean, well equipped room with a lovely sea view (& free parking). Friendly & helpful host, delicious breakfast - great value for money. I will definitely stay again."

"The room was ok,but you could smell kitchen odours in the bathroom . The evening meals were poor, alot of the meals did not have the ingredients and the meals were poorly cooked. Lacked organisation "

"Great views of the seaside, wonderful staff and really good location. The common areas are very welcoming, and the restaurant serves great food. Unfortunately, the windows were in poor condition and the noise from the road, the race course and the wind made it really difficult to relax during the day and to sleep at night. Earplugs 100% recommended. They also let the cold in at night, so don't be deceived by the high temperature in the rooms/building during the day."

"I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

"We had a lovely room with a sea view and lots of space and seating for our 3-day break. The staff were great and helpful when needed. However the whole place is looking a bit tired and in need of sprucing up. This did not detract from our stay and is reflected in the good rate we paid. We would certainly consider staying again ."

"Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay. "

"Jeg ankom, og bliver straks konfronteret (meget højlydt ud i lokalet med et vedvarende stirrende og anklagende blik) at jeg ikke har gidet at svare dem på en mail vedr. at mit kreditkort var blevet afvist... Jeg havde ikke booket igennem dem, men igennem hotels.com og skulle ifølge reservationen betale ved ankomst.. Ren Fawlty Towers stemning.. af den grund kommer jeg aldrig igen. Og wifiet er som hotel wifi's.. det virker ikke Kan dog ikke klage over morgenmaden"

"The room was clean but needs updating , the window would not shut and the wind was whistling through the window , reception there was a bell on the wall pressed that quiet a few times no body came , saw other guests and asked them there was a ring doorbell type round the corner spoke to a chap he told what for key safe but because quite def couldn’t understand him finally got to my room after about 1 hr , the only good thing I can say the location good "

"Comfortable bed, some noise from people on the landing as there was a gap at the bottom of the door but this was only a minor inconvenience. Friendly staff, plenty of teacand coffee in the room too."

"Very clean and well equipped. WiFi signal not very strong. We would stay again but only if the mattress was replaced for a better quality or given a decent topper. It was extremely uncomfortable and affected getting a good night's sleep. There were several comments in the guest book in the property, going back a while that mentioned the uncomfortable mattress, so the owners should be aware."
