South of Lethbridge (approx 90min) is Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park. The park is a protected area where the Áísínai'pi would engrave the walls to share their stories. It's a special place that not very many Albertans get to experience.
One of the newest UNESCO World Heritage Sites this place has endless trails to explore. The park includes an interpretative center, camping and day use areas. Milk river runs through the park which is a great opportunity to paddle through the hoodoos!
