"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. it is a small boutique hotel in a nice quiet location. We loved everything about this hotel were we got a nice warm welcome and was helped in any way possible. We will certainly come back. Very good value for money!"

"We had an excellent stay at The Portland. Gabriela could not have been more helpful in advance with clear instructions and sorting a parking permit for £5 for 24 hours. The safe parking was around the posh Clarence Square not too far away. There were other places in Zone 10 too. "fint og hyggeligt sted... sødt personale... slidt og mangler vedligeholdelse, toilet defekt, brugser defekt nat bord defekt.. dårlig rengøring.. "

"What an idyllic delight!!! It’s an old home, but it was so comfortable! Our room was huge, and the breakfast buffet in the morning right outside our door was perfect. The tea & biscuits waiting for us in our room upon arrival were much appreciated, and I got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life over the sheep fields."

"Avonpark House is a very good travellers rest. Comfortable and clean, our room was a reasonable size as was the ensuite. It’s a walkable distance into the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good parking available and an excellent breakfast."

"Keep it up"

"Et dejligt lille hotel, tæt på Birmingham Universitet. Lækre rum som er nyistandsatte med pæne møbler og en god seng. Roligt og rent. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Nemt at komme med bus og tog ind til city og videre til lufthavnen. Te og kaffe på værelset. Morgenmad kan tilkøbes. "

"This is not a hotel. It is a house that rents rooms out. That said, it was clean and fine for a one night stay. I was not sent check in instructions, so I had to call them when I arrived to see how to access my room."
