"This room in this home is basically a two season rental - spring or fall. This room does not have air conditioning. It was so hot during our July visit we couldn't stay the second night of our two-night visit. The squeeky broken ceiling fan did nothing to make it better. Other visitors have mentioned it was cold during their visit. "Wow what a beautiful location. We were there right at the peak of fall leaf colors. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week. "Great location - neighborhood had lots of great, paved walking trails and it was close to downtown Brunswick. The beds were very comfortable and appreciated the pet-friendly home and fenced in yard. The back yard however, needed serious cleaning up of dog poop from previous renters. There was A LOT and we spent the first hour cleaning up the mess. This should always be checked prior to rentals. Otherwise, a fine experience."

"I will return. I could have stayed longer. It was a nice respite from a stressful life. Hosts were amazing. Extremely accommodating! My dog loved being able to swim (and chase sticks - finally learned to bring them back to the beach) every day. I think it helped that the hosts left a container of the training cookies. And they left a dog bowl, which I forgot. The wood stove was perfect for keeping us warm at night and when my dog was a still chilly after her swims. Again, I will return!"
