"Second stay at sunset cabins, great value for money and very convenient. Loved watching the horses in the nearby field. Very relaxing place! Only thing I would say is that some basic instructions for the combi oven would be helpful as we were never sure if we had the right setting! 😂 and perhaps some softer pillows as they were on the hard side. Personal choice of course. Overall def come back! "

"All in all me and my partner loved our short stay away in a beautiful shepherds hut. It was out of the way and so peaceful, i’d definitely stay here again. The only thing that let it down was the door latches and there was a gap in the bathroom door. "

"We had a lovely stay in the cabin. Perfectly located to get to lovely cliff walks and the sea and Paula is an amazing host always on hand to help with anything we needed. We would love to go back. The cabin is really well equipped and is deceptively spacious inside. The view from the deck of the cabin was lovely - straight over to the sea and whilst there are other houses around it felt private and set back from other gardens."

"Just what we'd hoped and more - a beautiful Shepherds Hut, romantic and warm, stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. It made our first trip without our kids feel very special! "Very impressed with the lodge and experience of our holiday. Staff were very helpful on arrival and lodge was very large with privacy which was great for us. "Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"We were made to feel very welcome and had a fun stay. The cabin is brilliant, we loved the outdoor/indoor kitchen, the pool table, the seating area. Inside the cabin, it's clean with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. I would recommend a stay. The location is perfect too, just a quick drive to the beaches, and has two nice pubs in the village."

"Place clean, adequately furnished/equipped, very basic. Towels were clean but hard and uninviting - same colour and washed/dried with softener would solve. Major issue was old mattress, turned over to a spring twanging accompaniment, and prod in the back. Bedding clean but needs replacing. "

"Me and my friends stopped here for 4 nights. The house had everything you needed for a short or long stay and also had fantastic views! There were some lovely walks both within Woolacombe and also to Ilfracombe. John was also great and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend! "
