"We loved the house and the grounds looking over the lake. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The yard, front and back were really lovely. The backyard overlooked Quasset Lake. We were fortunate to enjoy pleasant weather. The beds were comfortable. The living room and kitchen overlooked the lake with a large deck off the area. There is shade available over the deck if the sun gets too hot. We were there only for the weekend, but had a fabulous time."

"We stayed here for my nieces wedding. The house was very well appointed in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is huge! We spent most of our time in the house gathered around the table laughing and eating. We had cold raining weather so we did not get to enjoy the grounds as much as I would have liked but it was definitely beautiful. Comfy beds. Living room and sitting room had big comfy sofas. "Clean, historic, and truly beautiful. Clean is the number one priority for us. It not only looked and smelled clean, but we had confidence that linens, quilts, and towels were freshly washed, did not smell of mildew, and was not drowned in highly-scented fabric softener beads. As a matter-of-fact, I didn’t notice any fragrances (which, by the way, I can’t physically tolerate). Honestly this property was even nicer than the online listing shows it. We highly recommend."

"This is a real gem of a find! I loved our stay here. GPS does take you to the back of the building but it’s located next to a large parking lot. Plenty of parking which was great for us because we have an extended cab f350 ford that does not fit into most parking spaces.
