"Very enjoyable stay. Excellent staff led by John the general manager, whose welcome is friendly and genuine. Top marks. Room comfortable if slightly very cramped . Excellent breakfast that used fine local ingredients. Dinner was good too, but a few of the dishes just need a little more finesse to make the Michelin guide. Overall, strongly recommended thanks to John and his team."

"Tog fra Heathrow til Ipswich. Hotellet er ca. 15 minutters gang fra stationen. Fra hotellet til stadion i Ipswich er der ca. 20 minutters gang. Centralt beliggende hotel til fodbold. Mega dyrt at køre med tog i England."

"We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly."

Shower attachment broken so a (cold) shower was only possible by holding the shower head.
