"The hosts were very responsive to questions prior to arriving. When we arrived, Julie ran through everything with us and was very helpful with tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. The cabin was amazing - very well setup and every need provided thoughtfully. The breakfast supplies were more than enough for us and great quality. "The property is secluded and very quiet and lovely for a weekend get away. No tv which we found a nice change. The seating inside the cottage wasn't great for us, being in our 60's, it would have been nice to have a lounge to sit and snuggle up on. "What I like the most was how welcoming the couple were. They even wanted us to stay longer for free. Not everything is about money but having happy guests. I love it , relaxing, fresh eggs and lot of different fresh foods. Clean and beautiful nature. I love it very much and thanks for the wonderful service. "We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time."

"Set just down the hill from Montville village, this cute cottage is well-located with a lovely view over the forests to the west of the range. The gazebo offers lovely shade in the middle of the day and has spectacular views of sunsets. "Possums retreat is absolutely gorgeous! It's in a great location and close to everything you need. The fire place and the hydrotherapy spa was a massive win for us. Most importantly, the communication with the owners was exceptional. They even supplied a hamper with fresh fruit, danishes, crossiants and a freshly homemade loaf of bread which was super delicious. Amazing weekend away!! A massive thanks to the Owners Linda and Antony. We'll be back for sure."

"Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."

"This was the first time staying at this resort but we have stayed a number of times at other resorts in Mooloolaba. The mantra has great facilities and is very central however we did find the rooms were tired and some things were broken and needed fixing. Our room was a one bedroom superior ocean view supposedly renovated although I doubt that. The room was also quite noisy with other guests banging doors and the main door to unit opening right onto the bedroom. However even with these negatives...

"We were very happy with our stay. So friendly staff. We should have checked out 10am but the let stay for free in the room until 11am. After that we were allowed to use the pool and towels and to take a shower in the fitness room. Great service and amazing pool area."
