"Enjoyed our stay, cottage is welcoming and attention to detail appreciated. Very clean and everything you need is thought of. Garden is nice and well kept. Only down side is having no parking, but owner has arranged parking at nearby water park, but this was a little problematic for us. There is quite a bit of road noise as it’s on a relatively busy road, but maybe we notice it more as we live in a very rural location with no traffic and are not used to it. But would def stay again, thank you....

"My Friends and I stayed at Cosgrove Cottage over the weekend just gone, and it was nothing short of magical. The setting is simply beautiful, right on the edge of the Forest. The marketing photos do not do it justice, you have to see it to believe it. The presentation of the actually property was immaculate and the Owners were very possibly the nicest people I have ever met. Warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The Tour of the Grounds was informative but...

"Cottage was really nice to stay at for our 10 day England trip. Bathrooms being updated was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Being positioned on a golf course off the main road made for quiet nights. The bistro next door with the included 10% discount for staying at the cottage was excellent for breakfast and evening drinks. Perfect little picturesque and quaint cottage. "

"We needed a property big enough to accommodate 13 people and Bellropes was perfect. Great kitchen, big enough to seat everyone and fully equipped with everything we needed. Garden was huge and being able to get to the beach was an added bonus, if a little further away than the 5 minutes stated.Would definitely recommend for large families wanting a homely place to get-together.Garde "

"Sehr schönes Haus mit Blick auf den Fluss, ever und Flut immer wieder spannend zu beobachten. Küche mit topp Ausstattung und Sitzecke hinterm Haus haben wir oft genutzt. In der Gegend gibt es nicht so viele touristische Highlights, aber der Nordseestrand auf Mersea und Frinton-on-sea "

"I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return."

"Just a short drive from Saffron Walden, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring Cambridge, Saffron Walden and Audley End House. A really quiet location and very comfortable stay."

"Very well appointed and located - pretty wrap around garden with sun at different times of day- close to jetty where grandsons loved crabbing and yummy unpretentious seafood restaurants.Only reservation for some could be 2 flights of steep stairs to 2 of 3 bedrooms with only bathroom and loo downstairs— but cottage dates from 1575 so don’t expect en-suites! - what you do get is character and comfort. "
