Hytter i Winter

"Everything was great. I just thought that the extra cleaning fee that was tacked on was excessive."

"They didnt have breakfast but the staff was friendly!"

"The room was not clean at all. Stained linens, stained carpet, broken A/C unit. Smell was horrible. Pool and hot tub were mucky looking. Will never book here again."

"Very good as far as the location. My buddies were camping there just down the road. Right now I am wounded after a surgery and didn’t feel well enough to camp or even use a trailer. This place has location and everything else!"

"We were provided zero communication with the check in process until we reached out, still had to clarify which cabin we were in. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early to attend family functions. TV did not work, was not provided wash cloths, no oven mitts provided, and cobwebs galore over the entire walls. Warm water in the shower ran out after 10 mins. Appreciate providing a coffee maker, utensils, plates, and working appliances, a/c, heat, bedding, pillows, and decent space."

"Arrival was rough: the address listed on VRBO was wrong, leading us to the neighboring property to the north (which has two cabins) at 11pm. I walked into one before realizing it wasn't ours. The property manager was nice and called back, but didn't realize the address was wrong. He guided us by phone through spotty cell service to the correct house to the south (actual address 8696), which was hard to find in the dark due to a split driveway. There were only 4 towels for an 12-person property,...

"My wife and I stayed at Callahan’s Shore Thing cabin for a quick stay to celebrate our anniversary! It was perfect. The hosts were amazing with their communication and the cabin itself is perfect. The photos and descriptions are accurate but undersell how great the location is. The proximity to the water and the peaceful setting can’t be described. The Musky Lounge is perfect. We truly loved every aspect and can’t wait to return. We have rented cabins annually either as a family or...

"This house was great for a group! Loved the kitchen and the big table, and the beds were very comfortable. They're obviously still working on a few items to improve the experience--the trail to the lake and the porch--but it's still a great house and in a nice, quiet location. (If you want to use the porch, I recommend bringing a fan.) The lake itself was great in that we could get to the other lakes in the chain. The chain of lakes was great! It would have been nice if the boat lift had...

"Awesome place, very comfortable, quite surroundings! Very easy access from highway! Up north for family reunion! Will definitely stay again in the future!!"

"The cabin was cute and cozy and perfect for our party of two. The winter weather was not an issue getting to or from the cabin and we had everything we needed with beautiful views of the frozen lake. The host was very responsive and helpful. "

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The pictures and description are totally accurate. The home was clean, well furnished and as comfortable as home including the beds. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the linnens were fresh, new and plush. The shower is spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The screened porch was wonderful to sit out in the afternoon and watch the leaves fall in the breeze. (We were there early October). We found lots of...
