Hoteller nær Windy Hill Beach

"Wasnt told that the balconies were not able to be used due to construction...even as I checked in, no one let me know anything. Not to mention I had someone from staff trying to enter my room at 9:30am as he thought I wasn't there...literally knocked and immediately tried opening the door...thank god the latch was locked, otherwise...he would've walked in on me.....not very happy honestly "

"Are breakfast for the 1st time in their restaurant for the 1st time of many stays and it was very tasty. Workers in the restaurant could have been nicer!! Grounds outside were very well kept up. Appreciated I guess security letting their presence be seen!!!! We never needed him but made me feel safer seeing him there. Also really appreciated him letting us all know when a storm was coming. Love the availability to many restaurants. Unless I switch beaches I don’t see me staying any where else."

"Check in was easy, they’re doing renovations so there’s some noise and a little mess but nothing crazy! Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast options! It seemed all the ice makers were out of order so that was a bummer but not a deal breaker!"

"Room was updated and spotless. New carpet, paint, bathroom vanity, and more. A fantastic value imo. We've been staying here for many years & it never disappoints. It's close to EVERYTHING in NMB & just a stone's throw away from Myrtle but without those resort prices. Pool was clean & open. Highly recommend for families or solo travellers."

"First off we didn't stay, we as unaware of a contract being that we purchased thourgh a third party. My husband is disabled and it ha stairs which we was unaware of and you have to walk to the beach it isn't in front of the beach it's on side street."

"Excellent property the only issues we had was with the shower in the primary bathroom not draining properly and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom not functioning properly. We didn’t stay long so it wasn’t a huge issue as the ac was adequate and the shower was the worse the last day of our stay."

"Great hotel in a beautiful area right on the beach. Good thing the bed was incredibly comfortable. Just a note for management: room cleaning missed the mark during our stay when the Marriott typically holds higher standards. Beds were never made or room cleaned by late afternoon. One particular instance where cleaning staff didn’t speak or understand English and came into our room to clean bathroom while I was in there getting ready for dinner?! "Dave yourself the headache. Every day it was something. Maintenance was good though. Oven not working. Batteries died in key pad for door. Deadbolt broke and we were stuck in condo for 5 hours. Advertised outdoor pool was open . It was NOT and after days of arguing with management and Hostiva, they finally acknowledge it was closed. Phoned Hostiva almost every day and they said they would phone back. They never did. The last day took the cake; cockroach crawling on the wall. That was the icing...

"The location was nice,because of the beach access, there was plenty of parking. The pools looked nice. There was nothing special about it. Too much furniture in the bedroom, awkward to move around. No free anything to drink or snack on. Not much available to even buy. We had an “extra fee” upon arrival even though we paid so much already."
