"★★★★★ Quiet, affordable, and close to it all After our share of big resorts and vacation rentals over the years, we knew exactly what we wanted for this Aruba trip: a peaceful, budget-friendly home base away from the crowds. Aloe B&B in Oranjestad delivered. Our one-bedroom had a private bathroom and a refrigerator, and we loved the pool, in the yard, and at the little outdoor kitchen. What really set it apart for us is that the owners live on the property. We felt genuinely taken care of in a...

"Clean and tidy room"

"I requested months in advance for a ground floor room because of my elderly mother coming with me. Since that request, she has broken her hip and has been recovering. We were put in a 3rd floor room (no elevators, all stairs) and told no other ground floor rooms were available. Although I didn't receive a confirmation for a ground floor room months ago, just told that my request was noted in my reservation by the resort, the staff said that the room I booked was 2nd or 3rd floor only. "This is not a hotel but a hostel. And as such the place works ok. But when advertised as a hotel it falls short, there is no cleaning of the rooms, not even the toilesbasket is emptied. The power to the a/c is cut during the day and you have to ask for permission to get it switched on again. Towels are not included but cost 10Usd to rent per piece. There is no hot water in the shower This is not only a issue for Chez Lilly but more for Hotels.com as the info is not trustworthy, when seaching...

"The place is clean ,but you don’t have control for you air conditioners ,plus their are no shampoo conditioners towel soap ,is far away from the center you really need a car ,the worst part is they didn’t give me the keys for the room I have to leave unlocked all the time I was going out and last 2 days someone lack the bathroom"

"This resort was perfect, with 2 excellent restaurants (Passions on the Beach and Horizons). The beach had ample palapas and you didn’t need to get up at 6 am to reserve a spot! The room was very clean and comfortable. Super Foods is a very short walk. There are many excellent restaurants in walking distance."

"Went here on a girls trip. The beach was beautiful and we spent most of our time enjoying the view and cooling off in the clear water. The chairs at both the beach and pool were very comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and the property was well cared for. Really enjoyed our stay!"
