"We were dubious when we arrived at the property. It is not located in the greatest neighborhood. The apartment itself is beautifully renovated. We heard sirens three times before ten pm on the first night. And when we went to the nearby grocery, there was an armed guard in the lobby. We spoke to the security guard, and he said that the neighborhood only sees crimes of opportunity for the most part. And, as we were returning to the apartment from the grocery store, we noticed that there is a fire...

"Pros: the house is located in a safe neighbourhood close to the Falls. Cons: the house does not fit 7 people - and everything is quite old. The kitchen was not properly cleaned. Also the host did not respond to our messages and we had to call him at the morning of arrival to get the details."

"This estate sits up on a hill in downtown Lewiston, so you're isolated from the hustle-bustle of the town. We were there during a full-blown arts festival but we never heard a thing. Very tranquil and loads of space both inside and outside."

"Location was great. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Spacious bedrooms. Not handicap accessible (steps, no safety bars in bathrooms). Would stay again, but not for long term due to no laundry on site. Would like to have table lamps in all rooms (overhead lighting is very bright). Night lights in bathrooms only. With thermostat set to 69 the house was FREEZING when we walked in. (suggest host save some energy $$ by leaving it at 73). We set it to 74-75 and lower level room...
