"Our family stayed here for a week and loved it. Tatiana was a great host, and she very graciously allowed our younger children to take a tour of her small farm, and feed/pet the animals. The owners lived close by and are there if you need them, but also give you space. The property is full of all kinds of creatures, sheep, pigs, rabbits, deer, ducks, and feels like a Peter Rabbit storybook. Close to town with other fun nearby locations to visit. - The town is nice and feels like Mayberry. - There are nice state parks that run along the river all the way to the Virginia border with hikes to the nearby mountains and rivers which my kids (8 and 12) loved doing. - The river also has public access pretty close to town which was clearly a local watering hole which I preferred to an ocean beach. "Loved this house. I treasured the peace of drinking my coffee on the swing in the gorgeous back yard with the sounds of the water falls and bird song. We enjoyed seeing all the colors of the Koi fish. Very safe neighborhood close to necessities. House was very comfortable and my bed was firm but easy on my joints. Spa tub in bathroom helped relax muscles sore from too much activity. Margaret was friendly and helpful without being intrusive at all. She went out of her way to make our stay...
