"I was a solo traveler because my companion had to change plans, so I had the benefit of complete piece of mind at this place, and more room than I needed. It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to returning here in the future for sure "

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! "

"We liked staying at the place as it had good amenities (washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer, fan, inflatable bed, wifi, cable, free parking spots. etc) and a lot of space. Where there is no central AC, it had a window unit which worked well - we had a comfortable stay in mid-July."

All the amenities you could think of, just in case you may have forgotten something. The quiet and serene nature of the property was beautiful, and I am so happy we chose to stay here. "My husband and I stayed 2 nights here for our 10 year anniversary. We had a family wedding in Manchester VT which was an easy and quick ride from there. I could not have asked for better hosts! The house has the best layout with multiple levels, all with their own deck and bathroom. I am already planning my fall getaway here for at least 3-4 nights. We didn’t want to leave and if I could give 10 stars we would! Thank you so much Linda and TJ we look forward to our next visit!!"
