"Such a great host, good communication throughout, perfect little lake cottage with lots of privacy in a quiet, quaint community. Close to the lake and pretty central for venturing out to explore CT. The personal touches puts this host over the top...coffee, toiletries, fenced in area for pets, kayaks on the property with life vests...even towels and a beach blanket! Loved our little home away from home...you will, too!"

"The check in and out times were very strange. Also I’d suggest bringing your own wood you can buy theirs but they don’t dry it out and it doesn’t burn completely or correctly so the campfire was very very very small and mostly smoke. It is cute and the cabin was a lot smaller then expected but still had a good time didn’t get to enjoy it all because again it’s like there wasn’t enough time. "

"We only stopped for a night passing through on our way to Maine. What a perfect little spot. Easy On/off from I84. It fit the 4 of us with ease. Bed was comfortable, and with all the windows open it was the best night of sleep I’ve had in months! The goats and sheep were comical, the dogs and cats lovable, and the general vibe of the place was well worth the price! We would definitely book again when passing through."

"My family and I had a relaxing vacation in this cabin. We spent our days fishing and swimming in the lake as well as hiking in some of the nearby nature trails. At night, we enjoyed the outdoor fire table, watched movies, and played board games. My younger children loved having access to the gaming station. The property was pet friendly, and our dog enjoyed exploring the yard. The owners were very prompt about communicating with us. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation!"

"What a cozy spot tucked away in the woods. Our stay felt like a visit with family just enjoying the amenities offered to all. Angela was a warm and welcoming host who was always around when we had questions. The cabin had everything needed for a long Weekend-type getaway and felt like home, especially when we made friends with Marlin the barn cat! The lake was tranquil and clean. On their private beach, I particularly appreciated the kayaks, canoes and life jackets readily and easily...

"I took my adult children to the cabin as a part of their birthday present. The cabin was perfect for us. The property was great. The lake was beautiful. We took advantage of the sauna. We did a 3-mile run off the property and it was safe with almost zero traffic. We left the property and visited the State park for a hike and then went to Buttonwood ice cream. Overall we had a great time. I wish it had been just a little bit warmer. Would definitely go back again."
