"This is hands down the best VRBO rental I’ve stayed in. The hosts thought of everything. Location is quiet, place is clean and well thought out and stocked. I can’t think of anything they missed. The hot tub was a bonus! We were only in town for 24 hours but if I need to go back to Gresham, I hope this spot is available. "

"I would love this to be our new Eugene hotel! I wish we would’ve known about The Excelsior before now! Charming; quiet; secure; low-tech (no 27 LED lights blinking at night, staring into my sleepless eyes); courteous and helpful staff; delicious, home-made breakfast included; competitive pricing; and classical music themed rooms. This kind of hotel attracts like-minded guests; and we were not disappointed. And there were little touches, too, such as a nightlight in the bathroom, and a wine...

"I didn’t realize (probably my mistake)that we would be sharing a bathroom with one other room, but they have it so well organized and nice an clean that it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything here is Super eco friendly and the kitchen is amazing and there is food for all dietary needs. I would totally stay here again, although maybe get the room with its own bathroom"
