"Excellent experience overall! The home was outstanding with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Multiple outdoor seating areas allowed us to take advantage of the beautiful weather each afternoon and evening. Very quiet and peaceful. The host communication was excellent with quick responses and offers to assist with anything during our stay. This was one of the best experiences in our years of hiking trips to western NC. "We loved our time at this cabin! The back porch is perfect and we really enjoyed spending time outside in the peaceful space eating, playing games, and reading. The house was very clean and the owners were very responsive and communicated well, checkin and checkout were well explained. We would recommend and would visit again. "

"We are a family of 3 senior adults who stayed one night for a fishing trip, and we loved everything about this home. The covered porch with a ramp at the end of the dwelling made unloading our things in the rain much less stressful and made entry easy for the eldest of our group (rather than having to negotiate a lot of steps). "Enjoyed sitting peacefully on back deck overlooking the river. Near to Byson City and surrounding mountain towns. Even though it was a campground the atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful. "
