"Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House."

"Relaxing retreat tucked into a scenic quiet bay. John & Marge were excellent hosts and the chalet is setup wonderfully. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the view and peaceful surroundings and walking down to the state marina. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit the island!"

"What a lovely home, with a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of soft linens. I very much appreciated the coffee-ready station, too. Everything was neatly arranged and easy to find. The view was amazing and I wish we could have been there for a sunset. We were unfortunately only there for one night and had plans with family in the area so didn’t get to spend much time in the house.
