"We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell."

"This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!"

"Our stay here was just what we needed! Perfect option for our little family (Grandma, 3yo, 5yo and Mum). Kids absolutely loved the playground at the foot of our backdoor (2 bdrm flat). Heaps of room to run around or you could just sit by the river and watch the water. The 2 bdrm flats are slightly older so don't go expecting 5 star quality. It was perfect for us with a great location, handy as we were travelling between family around the area. There's a simple shop on hand for necessities....

"My family and I spend a night at the Paihia Beach Resort and we loved it. We had plenty of room. My girls enjoyed the pools and there is a small play ground just across the street which my little son loved to play at. The view is fantastic, both from the apartment, the pools and the play ground. We had breakfast brought to the room. It was great! Highly recommended. Unfortunately, I had some chest pain the final day we were there.
